Tá scileanna fionntraithe den scoth á gcleachtadh ag páistí Rang 4 (An M. Ruairí) agus bronnadh an chéad áit orthu le déanaí dá dtionscnamh “Wilde Lights”. Tá trí shaghas ar fáil faoi láthair – “Candy Cane”, “Fresh Linen” agus “Blueberry and Vanilla”.
Tá na coinnle i stáin ar a bhfuil pictiúr d’Oscar Wilde agus ráitis éagsúla uaidh. Tá éileamh chomh mór ar na coinnle gleoite seo go raibh gá dul i mbun déantúsaíochtaí arís chun breis a chur ar fáíl! Beidh siad ar díol ag Aonach na Gaelscoile ar an Domhnach.
The children in Rang 4 An M. Ruaírí have been honing their entrepreneurial skills and at a ceremony held this week were presented with the trophy as overall winners for their project “Wilde Lights”. The candles are available in 3 different fragrances, candy cane, fresh linen and blueberry and vanilla.
The candles are in tins and feature a portrait of Oscar Wilde and different quotes. Such has been the demand for the beautifully presented finished product that extra batches have been commissioned! They will be on sale at the Gaelscoil Fete on Sunday next.
