Mar chuid d’ár gcláracha timpeallachta agus chun ceiliúradh a dhéanamh ar Sheachtain Náisiúnta na gCrann, thug gach rang ó Rang 1 ar aghaidh cuairt ar choillte áitiúla i rith na seachtaine. Bhain na ranganna naíonán taitneamh as turasanna beaga timpeall na scoile agus iad ag faire amach do dhathanna agus do chomharthaí an fhómhair.

As part of our environmental awareness programmes and during this National Tree Week, all classes from Rang 1 upwards visited local woodland areas such as Oak Park (Rg. 1); Clogrennan (Rg. 2);Oughaval woods (Rg. 3); Altamont Gardens (Rg. 4); Duckett’s Grove and Ballinkelly Woods (Rg. 5) and Mullaghreelan Woods and Castledermot High Crosses (Rg. 6). Infant classes have been enjoying exploring around the school area and observing the different colours and leaves.

The cost of all the buses was covered by the school, thanks to the continuing and generous support from “Cairde” contributions.
