Thosaigh an ceiliúradh don seachtain speisialta seo i halla na scoile ar an Luan le searmanas álainn don scoil go léir. Bhí séiplíneach na scoile, an tAthair Conn, i láthair. Tá cuireadh ag seanthuistí Rang 2 cuairt a thabhairt ar na ranganna ar an gCéadaoin agus beidh Aifreann speisialta ar siúl leis an nGaelcholáiste ar an Aoine. Tá clár curtha in airde ag an scoil i Séipéal Eacsca ag léiriú cuid de na himeachtaí a bhíonn ar siúl againn mar scoil Chaitliceach i rith na bliana. Déanfaidh cuid de na páistí croiseanna Bhríde i rith na seachtaine agus díolfar iad ar son na misiún ag Aifrinntí na deireadh seachtaine. Caithfidh Rang 6 an Aoine ar lá spioradálta mar chuid den ullmhúchán don Chomhneartú.
We began the celebrations for Catholic Schools’ Week in the school hall on Monday, with a beautiful ceremony for the entire school. The school chaplain, An tAthair Conn, was present. Grandparents of 2nd Class have been invited to the school on Wednesday and a special Mass will be celebrated in conjunction with the Gaelcholáiste on Friday. A display, depicting various events celebrating the school’s Catholic ethos, can be seen in Holy Family Church, Askea during this week. Some classes are making St. Brigid’s crosses at school and these will be sold at parish Masses this weekend to raise money for the missions. 6th Class will spend Friday on retreat as part of their preparation for Confirmation.
